XLibre is a creative expression of Conservation Solutions.
XLIBRE Heritage Library—a growing archive of carefully researched 17th- and 18th-century Ex Libris. Whenever possible, we're documenting their provenance, the artists behind them, and the stories that make these little works of art so fascinating. My hope is that by preserving and sharing them, we can continue this lovely tradition.
Some collections are inspired by the rich history of Ex Libris and the remarkable artists who shaped this timeless tradition. Others are inspired by the people, places, wildlife, and landscapes that have touched my own life and continue to fuel my passion for conservation.
Every bookplate is created with care, curiosity, and a story worth sharing.
All the best,
